Introduction

There are a number of cycle paths around Edinburgh. These are dedicated to cyclists and walkers. The national cycle routes make use of some of them and they are a good alternative to busy roads in many cases.

I haven't travelled every mile of the Edinburgh paths - but the links on the left will take you to pages with more descriptions for those that I have explored.
